Other distractions...

On the good side, one of my students has finished the work on DEFSTRUCT. That's a very good milestone, since it's one of the hybrid features (built in a mix of Java and Lisp) and supports the features in both Java and Lisp. Excellent work there.

I've been fixing several problems with the current compiler. All of our test for lambda lists work correctly. On the other hand, the (function (function ...) ...) problems seem to boil down to an erratic binding problem in FLET and LABELS.  My goal was to have all of this fixed by the time of the conference. But alas, mid-term exams and grading have pushed Lisp into the back seat for now. Well, I have a couple of long flights...
